Here’s an exciting opportunity to take your finance career to the next level. We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to support effective financial management by delivering timely, accurate financial information that aids decision making within a well-established company in Co. Fermanagh.
Your New Job: As Financial Accountant you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This is a fast-paced environment where you’ll collaborate with a variety of teams and operations, focusing on both regular financial operations and strategic projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and present monthly divisional management accounts, meeting strict deadlines
- Reconcile and review balance sheet control accounts
- Conduct variance and trend analyses to highlight risks and opportunities
- Oversee statutory returns (VAT, Intrastat, VIES) and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and preparing statutory financial statements
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role; background in manufacturing is desirable
- Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage)
- Solid knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Strong organisational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
