My client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a HR Specialist to join their team. This role is located in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.
As the HR Specialist, you will assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures and support the day to day HR operation.
Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Drive delivery of key metrics, such as turnover, absence and retention rates.
- Coach & mentor management on HR policies/procedures/health & safety.
- Conduct grievance cases & provide legal and policy compliant advice.
- Ensure all HR Systems are maintained and kept up to date.
- Manage employee absence/ sick leave, recruitment & onboarding process.
- Manage the Occupational Health diary & provide recommendations to management.
- Assist in learning, development & training.
- Support Health and Safety initiatives across the site.
- Participate in HR project work, offsite meetings & conferences.
What are we looking for?
- HR Advisor/HR Generalist or similar role within a manufacturing setting
- 3rd level qualification in HR.
- Employee Relations experience.
- Experience managing high volume of absenteeism 200 + employees
- Hands-on experience with HR systems.
- Ability to advise and work with senior members of staff.
- Experience assisting with recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, and policy implementation.
- Strong communication and relationship building.
