We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of our client based in Middleton. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company with long-term career prospects. The role involves working on a fast-paced production line, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency are met.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday (4 shifts per week)
Working Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
Enjoy a long weekend! Your week finishes at 4 PM on Thursday.
Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour
Overtime Pay: Time and a third
20-minute break. No deductions work 40 hours, get paid for 40 hours!
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing basic factory work in a fast-paced, hot environment
- Working as part of a team to assist in the operation of plastic injection machines
- Producing plastic barriers, grit boxes, and other plastic products
- Physically demanding role; no previous experience required
Requirements:
- Physically fit and strong; this is a demanding role
- Comfortable working in a hot environment
- Steel toe cap safety shoes required (all other PPE provided)
- Basic English communication skills (required for safety in a factory setting)
- Own transport preferred; public transport may not be available at 6 AM
