Job Description
We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Precision Engineers, CNC turners, and millers to join our client's team.
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and mills to produce precise components for various industries.
The ideal candidate should be a proficient engineer with extensive CNC experience, capable of programming, setting up, and operating these machines.
Additionally, it would be advantageous if the candidate has experience in CAD/CAM programming and is familiar with the following areas: wire eroding, CNC milling, CNC turning, tool making, precision machining, and wire EDM.
Responsibilities
- Configure and run CNC machines to manufacture precision parts and tools.
- Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Inspect the final products to ensure they meet engineering specifications.
- Conduct regular machine maintenance to keep them in optimal working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and well-organized work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in precision engineering and machining techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in work.

The compensation package includes a base salary of £31,200 with additional opportunities for overtime.
