We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Preston. This role involves working with cable assemblies and wiring harnesses for a range of industries. It is ideal for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and hands-on. Full training is provided; no prior experience needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble small electrical components, wires, and cable harnesses to specification.
- Handle and work with delicate materials requiring good manual dexterity and nimble fingers.
- Visually inspect products for defects and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
- Pack completed products with accuracy and care.
- Maintain a clean, organised workstation and follow all health & safety procedures.
- Meet daily production targets and report any issues to the team leader or supervisor.
Requirements:
- Good hand coordination and attention to detail when working with small parts.
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- No previous experience necessary; full training will be provided.
Pay & Hours:
- Hourly Rate: £12.21
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00; Friday: 07:30 - 13:00 (early finish every week!)
