About you:
We’re looking for a Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE) ready to take the lead on some of the UK’s most technically complex and high-risk infrastructure projects.This is an exciting opportunity to step into an Associate-level leadership position, where you’ll shape design strategies, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and drive business growth.
Your role will include:
- Acting as technical lead on major and high-risk civil/structural projects
- Overseeing entire design teams and coordinating inputs across disciplines
- Conducting strategic planning of project delivery, resources, and client engagement
- Leading bids, proposals, and business development activity across sectors
- Assuming formal leadership roles such as CRE (Contractor\'s Responsible Engineer)
- Supporting or being introduced to commercial responsibilities, including project profitability
- Developing and mentoring engineers and technical staff
- Competitive basic salary: £55,000-£70,000
- Hybrid working: 3 days in office (Barnsley), 2 days remote
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas Shutdown (no holiday deduction)
