About you:
We’re looking for a Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE) ready to take the lead on some of the UK’s most technically complex and high-risk infrastructure projects.This is an exciting opportunity to step into an Associate-level leadership position, where you’ll shape design strategies, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and drive business growth.
Your role will include:

  • Acting as technical lead on major and high-risk civil/structural projects
  • Overseeing entire design teams and coordinating inputs across disciplines
  • Conducting strategic planning of project delivery, resources, and client engagement
  • Leading bids, proposals, and business development activity across sectors
  • Assuming formal leadership roles such as CRE (Contractor\'s Responsible Engineer)
  • Supporting or being introduced to commercial responsibilities, including project profitability
  • Developing and mentoring engineers and technical staff
About the benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary: £55,000-£70,000
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in office (Barnsley), 2 days remote

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) with IStructE or ICE

coordination
  • Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to strategic growth initiatives
  • Familiarity with BIM Level 2 workflows and ISO 19650 compliance is preferred
