Matrix Consulting Engineers is seeking an Associate Technician to help lead their growing technical delivery teams within a BSI ISO 19650-certified environment. In this hybrid role, you will work as both a civil and structural technician, supporting a wide spectrum of engineering design and digital production. You’ll take a central role in shaping and improving workflows across Revit, Civil 3D, and point-cloud scanning, ensuring modelling, coordination, and information management processes remain industry-leading.
You’ll contribute to a variety of projects, including:
- Substations
- Data centres
- Major infrastructure
- Complex structures
- Commercial buildings
- Temporary works
- Bridges
Responsibilities include:
- Leading technical assurance and mentoring across the business
- Managing the drawing production process across multiple projects
- Supporting and upholding the firm’s ISO 9001 and ISO 19650 systems
- Representing Matrix in external stakeholder meetings, regulatory discussions, and industry forums
- Managing risk and internal compliance procedures
- Ensuring the commercial viability and profitability of the projects you oversee
- Building and maintaining client relationships to secure repeat and new business
- Collaborating with directors to help shape the strategic direction of the practice
