The Maintenance Leader will report to the Operations Leader and will have 3 direct reports Shift Engineers. The Maintenance Leader is responsible for ensuring that Safety, Quality, Environment, Cost, Delivery and People expectations are met whilst continually striving for Operational Excellence in a manufacturing environment which consists of mixing, coating, embossing, logging, slitting and packaging. You will collaborate with other functions such as EHS, Quality, R&D, Finance, Supply Chain and HR. Ensure a safe work environment and culture for Mativ employees, visitors and contractors whilst enforcing policies and procedures. - Ensures that processes and equipment in comply with legal standards. - Support Internal and External Audit requirements, fulfilling all obligations under current operating systems and accreditation criteria. - Setting, delivering and improving financial and non-financial budget & forecasts for department. - Provide the necessary leadership and resources to ensure that all products and services supplied by the site are at the highest possible levels, are consistent with company targets, and meeting customer specifications on time in full achieving site service requirements (OTIF). - Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve department performance. - Lead root cause analysis and deliver permanent fixes. - Supporting engineering upgrades and small-to-mid scale site projects. - Drive cultural transformation ensuring that your team understand Mativ Values and they are effectively applied to achieve results. - Work closely with Maintenance Leaders at other Mativ sites - Work closely with Human Resources to support training, career development succession planning and employee relations. - Time-served engineer with a strong electrical or mechanical bias. - Minimum HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering. - Proficient in using manufacturing software, ERP/MRP systems (SAP), and data analysis tools. - Holidays.
