Process Analyst (AI) - FTC

We are now looking for a Process Analyst with AI experience to join us on a 6 month fixed term contract.

About the Role

At Matillion, we’re on a mission to transform the way our business operates by embedding AI into the heart of our internal processes. As part of our dynamic AI Squad within IT and Security, you’ll help lead the charge in unlocking the power of intelligent automation. This role is all about spotting opportunities where AI can remove inefficiencies, reduce manual effort, and empower smarter, faster decisions. You’ll act as the vital link between business challenges and AI-driven solutions—helping shape a future where technology amplifies human potential.

At Matillion, we highly value in-person collaboration, which is why this role follows our hybrid work model — working from our Manchester city centre HQ two days per week. However, for the right candidate, we’re open to considering a fully remote arrangement, provided you are based in the UK.

What you will be doing:

• Partnering with business teams to map workflows and uncover high-impact AI use cases
• Designing and defining intelligent, scalable automation solutions alongside AI Engineers
• Gathering and translating business requirements into actionable AI product features
• Evaluating generative AI output for accuracy, usefulness, and business relevance
• Defining success metrics and monitoring AI performance in real-world applications

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in process mapping and automation, ideally with AI or LLM tools
• Strong analytical skills and a deep curiosity for how things work—and how they could work better
• A solid grasp of AI technologies, including the opportunities and risks they bring
• Confidence working cross-functionally with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, with a talent for making AI approachable and actionable

At Matillion, we are committed to providing compensation in line with market standards based on the role, job family, job level and country. This role’s estimated annual salaried pay range for this position is £62,080 - £93,120. The final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
