About the Role
We’re looking for a Community Manager to transform our community into a world‑class, AI‑enhanced experience. The role goes beyond scheduling content; you’ll organize, manage projects, and drive change to modernize how our community looks and feels.
What you will be doing
- Take full ownership of the community strategy and roadmap, moving from a static platform to a dynamic, AI‑enhanced experience that our customers and technical teams want to engage with.
- Manage and modernise community platforms – Discourse, Ideas Portal, Stack Overflow, and Reddit – ensuring consistent branding, content, and functionality, and performing front‑end updates (HTML/JavaScript) as needed.
- Build and manage a contributor schedule that brings Solution Architects, Technical SAs, and engineers front‑facing on community forums regularly.
- Lead the AI integration project, researching options, collaborating with the AI Technical Lead and Metrics team, and delivering AI‑powered features such as chatbots and enhanced search.
- Analyse community engagement data to surface trends, define success metrics, and continuously improve the community experience for our B2B SaaS customer base.
What we are looking for
- A strong background in community management within a B2B SaaS environment, understanding the types of questions technical customers ask and how to build a community that serves them.
- Project management skills, able to coordinate multiple workstreams, manage contributor schedules, and drive initiatives to completion while maintaining quality and momentum.
- Comfort with front‑end web basics (HTML and JavaScript) to manage and update community platform styling and branding independently.
- A genuine curiosity about AI and its application to community experiences – from chatbots to intelligent search – and the drive to own this project.
- Highly organised, data‑driven and collaborative, building trust with technical stakeholders and using engagement metrics to make informed decisions.
Salary
This role’s estimated annual salaried pay range is £36,000 – £54,000. The final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
