Customer Success Engineer at MathWorks
The hybrid work model allows staff to split time between office and home while serving university customers across teaching, research, and industry collaborations.
Responsibilities
- Plan and strategize: use data‑driven account assessments to develop a strategy that increases MATLAB and Simulink usage and adoption in university programs.
- Engage with university customers: meet on campus to support the integration of tools in teaching and research, collaborating with faculty and decision makers.
- Create a vision for success: develop a future‑state vision for courses, research, and networking activities that showcases the value of our products.
- Build champions: foster relationships with faculty and researchers, positioning them as MathWorks advocates on campus and in broader research communities, and influencing product strategy.
- Drive collaboration: partner with internal subject‑matter experts and external stakeholders to support key technical activities and specialized product areas.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or Applied Science.
- Proven experience with MATLAB & Simulink.
- Knowledge of the UK academic landscape (preferred).
- Experience developing laboratory or course materials, teaching, or research (preferred).
- Customer‑facing technical or marketing experience (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of professional experience (or a master’s with 3 years, a Ph.D., or equivalent) required.
Location: Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom (hybrid work model).
