We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and people-focused Assistant Centre Manager to join our team and play an important role in the day-to-day success of our centre.
The Role
As Assistant Centre Manager, you will work closely with the Centre Manager to ensure the centre runs smoothly, students receive an excellent learning experience, and parents feel supported and informed.
You will be a key member of the centre team, helping to create a positive, welcoming and energetic environment for students, families and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Centre Manager with the day-to-day running of the centre.
- Welcome students and parents and provide an outstanding customer experience.
- Help coordinate student sessions, schedules and centre activities.
- Support and motivate instructors to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Monitor student progress and help ensure learning plans are followed effectively. Communicate confidently and professionally with parents and guardians.
- Assist with enrolments, enquiries, bookings and general administration.
- Help maintain a safe, organised and positive learning environment.
- Support centre marketing, events and community activities where required.
- Help achieve centre performance and customer satisfaction targets.
- Step in to lead the centre when the Centre Manager is unavailable.
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for someone who
- Has a strong mathematical ability and is confident working with maths at the level required to support Mathnasium students.
- Has a degree, A-Level, or equivalent qualification with a strong maths component . A maths-related qualification is desirable.
- Is passionate about helping children succeed.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Is confident working with children, parents and colleagues.
- Has leadership potential and can motivate and support others.
- Is positive, energetic and able to create a welcoming environment.
- Is confident using computers and learning new systems.
- Can work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Has previous experience in education, tutoring, childcare, customer service, retail or management β desirable but not essential.
