Teaching Assistants – Powys Teacher Supply Cover is a small, independent education agency supplying schools across Herefordshire, Powys, Shropshire and Worcestershire. We're looking for Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to work in primary, secondary and SEN schools in and around Brecon, Hay-on-Wye, Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells, Presteigne and Newtown. What we offer * £15 per hour (£105 per day), paid weekly * Flexible work – day-to-day supply, regular days or longer-term placements * Mainstream and SEN opportunities, with the chance of permanent roles * A personal, friendly service from a local agency * We arrange your enhanced DBS check What we're looking for * Experience working with children or young people (school, nursery, childcare, youth work or similar) * A TA, childcare or education qualification is an advantage but not essential * Reliable, caring and able to support pupils' learning and wellbeing * Registration with the EWC as a School Learning Support Worker – we can help you with this Every candidate is met face to face before working in our schools.
