Mathews Brothers Fleet is adding another CDL - Class A Driver/Ambassador! The future is bright at Mathews Brothers. Come and be a part of it! Mathews Brothers, America's oldest window manufacturer, is experiencing another year of significant growth, and we need drivers!
You'll be responsible for transportation and delivery of finished windows and doors to customers’ locations, as well as transport of materials to and from Mathews Brothers facilities, located in Belfast and Hermon, Maine.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maneuver a 53' trailer with a commercial vehicle on site and on the road, departing daily from Mathews Brothers’ Belfast, Maine manufacturing facility to customers’ locations.
- Safely load and unload windows, doors and other items, properly securing all loads.
- Perform routine fueling, lubricating and servicing of vehicle.
- Maintain electronic log in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform all pre & post-trip inspections of vehicle.
Skills/Experience/Training Required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Current Maine commercial driver’s license.
- General knowledge of laws and regulations governing commercial transport.
- Ability to read and write simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, and apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
