Repairs, services, and maintains engine-driven generators and electric welding machines, ensuring a safe working environment. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Replaces defective parts and completes preventative maintenance.
- Orders parts as required for repairs.
- Inspects returned equipment for proper operation and damage.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
- Prepares and completes paperwork for machine repairs.
- Occasionally services equipment and customers off-site.
- Maintains communication with branch personnel.
- Advises customers on suitable equipment for their projects.
- Performs troubleshooting and calibrations on-site and off-site.
- Possesses knowledge of computers, welding processes, equipment setup, gases, and wires.
- Performs other projects and duties as assigned.
