What you will do:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify and prioritize territories for distributor engagement.
  • Recruit, develop, and maintain partnerships with new distributors; assume management of certain existing distributors where applicable.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with distributors, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams to onboard and educate new distributors and implement channel-specific marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Provide input on pricing strategies tailored to market conditions and distributor portfolio requirements.
  • Act as the single point of contact for distribution partners, fostering long-term, trust-based relationships.
  • Ensure alignment with Materialise’s mission and quality standards in all channel activities.

Your profile:

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and/or channel management in the medical device industry.
  • Strong track record in orthopaedic reconstruction sales is highly preferred; understanding of market players in hip and shoulder reconstruction is an asset.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain successful distributor relationships in diverse markets.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is an advantage.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong relationship-building capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required for market development activities.
  • The candidate must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of an international airport.
