Material Change Limited has over 18 years’ experience in the recycling and energy generation industry. We operate and manage 11 Anaerobic Digestion plants across the UK processing more than 380,000t of organic material and food waste to generate renewable gas, electricity and CO2. We clear and sell over 500,000t of chicken litter as a renewable feedstock and fertilizer replacement. With 6 compost sites across the Midlands and East of England, we provide quality assured and farm grade Compost, Mulch and Bark to landscapers, Gardeners, Local Farmers and Local Authorities.

MCL is part of the BioticNRG Group employing around 180 staff across the group. We aim to provide a busy, challenging and rewarding working environment with opportunities for career development and progression.

We are seeking an experienced Feedstock Manager to support the Group Feedstock Manager with growing and procurement for agricultural crops for the group, as well as planning and supporting the company with harvest.

Responsibilities
  • Consult with Growers throughout the growing season.
  • Make Harvest plans for contractors (to include Grass, Rye and Maize) and oversee and manage the harvest operation.
  • Record data from all contractors.
  • Organize Weighbridge cover.
  • Arrange logistics for satellite clamp movements.
  • Assist with collation of Sustainability Data.
  • Assist in procuring other suitable AD feedstocks.
  • Assist with feedstock reporting and monitoring Operational cost savings.
  • Sourcing feedstock Contracts needed, with support from the Paralegal.
Experience & Requirements
  • An understanding of agriculture and growing of Energy crops is desirable.
  • Clean Full UK driving license is essential.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Keen to win new business.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • This role will be hybrid with regular travel to sites.
