Matcon Civil Engineering Ltd are looking to appoint a Civil Site Supervisor to join our Infrastructure - Water Sector/Heavy Civils Team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement daily site diary and allocation sheets
- Facilitate statutory legal regulations paying specific attention to HSE legislation
- Conducting/recording site inspections
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with approved method statements
- Review and adaptation of risk assessments
- Assist with all ordering & plant allocation
Person specification:
- Extensive experience of the construction industry reinforced concrete works, pipelines (pumped and gravity), hard landscaping, roads and drainage etc
- Proven people management skills (including the management of sub-contractors)
- Understand teams’ strengths and weaknesses
- Practical hands-on approach and leads from the front
Training requirements (training provided if shortfall)
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS or NPORS
- First aid
- Confined spaces
- Street works
