We have the pleasure of offering a challenging position for an experienced SIA-licensed Security Officer to assist an existing team looking after a number of prestigious clients in the Newmarket area on a permanent basis. The role requires a proactive and level-headed individual able to present themselves in a polite and professional manner with a good grasp of the English language.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the high standard of access control for authorised personnel and control of public access
  • Conducting internal foot patrols in conjunction with external mobile patrols of the local area
  • Incident control management as well as emergency situation response when required
  • Ensuring all assignment instructions are followed and adhered to
  • Routine paperwork and record keeping as required

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must have a current valid SIA licence. A CCTV licence would be advantageous but is not required.

Job Type: Permanent contract

Schedule:

  • 12‑hour shifts
  • Day shifts and night shifts available on a set 4 on 4 off shift pattern
  • Weekends included within the shift pattern

Pay: £14.17 per hour
