Our client, a renowned organisation within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking dedicated and skilled Fabricators – Platers to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to fabricate and assemble metal structures
• Cutting, shaping, and welding metal components to precise measurements
• Conducting rigorous inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of completed work
• Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications
• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Performing routine maintenance on fabrication equipment

Job Requirements:

• Experience in fabricating and plating within the Defence sector
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications related to metal fabrication
• Proficiency with tools and machinery used in metalwork, including cutting and welding equipment
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting and meet project timelines
