Our client is seeking a Utility Surveyor for a full-time, permanent position ideally based in Birmingham, but also open to Bristol and London.

Our client is currently seeking a Utility Surveyor to join their team. This permanent role is ideal for someone with a strong background in surveying and a keen interest in underground utilities and GPR surveying. The successful applicant will have significant experience and knowledge of PAS128 utility mapping standards and possess strong technical abilities and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct underground utility and GPR surveys
- Map utilities in 2D and 3D to topographical surveys
- Carry out land and measured building surveys
- Utilise 3D Laser Scanner and process the data
- Perform survey setting out duties with precision
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality assurance & environmental compliance
- Ensure all survey equipment is in working order before site visits
- Liaise with clients and attend site meetings as required
Job Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of underground utility/GPR surveys
- Proficiency in underground utility survey processing software (N4ce experience is an advantage)
- Strong understanding of GPS and AutoCAD; Bentley Microstation is beneficial
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to travel across the UK, with a focus on London & South East
- Ability to attain Security Clearance for Government sensitive sites
- Sentinel registration (if required for rail projects)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in teams
