Job Opportunity: Planner – Surrey 🕗 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30 (40 hours/week, 30 mins lunch) 🏢 Location: Surrey 💼 Sector: Utilities We\’re recruiting a Planner to support a new Utilities project based in Surrey. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: Customer engagement – Handle calls and coordinate appointments Drag-and-drop planning – Assign water meter exchange jobs to mobile devices Booking and managing appointments – For internal meter changes Work planning and optimisation – Group jobs by road/area and coordinate efficiently Tracking updates – Monitor completed exchanges and update records Permit management – Learn and manage permitting processes for local councils Letter handling – Follow up with customers who receive letters regarding meter exchanges 💡 Ideal Candidate: Confident speaking with customers on the phone Experience in planning, coordination, or scheduling work activities Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams Quick to learn internal systems and digital workflows Understands the value of clear communication with both customers and field team.
