This role will contribute to their mission of protecting the UK by scoping, designing and delivering mission-critical solutions. As a Technical Consultant at a Senior Manager grade, you will work closely with public sector clients and project teams to solve challenging and interesting problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client engagements, presenting recommendations based on data, observations, and facts
- Assess client’s technical needs and understand how their needs differ from desires
- Support the development and introduction of new services and technologies for existing and new clients
- Design, develop and deliver innovative solutions for complex client challenges, producing high quality work to agreed timelines
- Configure, deploy and test systems and solutions in an agile, hands-on, and practical manner
- Build and maintain strong relations with clients and key stakeholders
- Analyse, manage, mitigate and treat risks to reduce impact on a project
- Build and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Prepare and review comprehensive project documentation
- Provide expert input to bids and proposals, scoping future work and helping to grow the business
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to colleagues and clients, sharing knowledge and experience
Job Requirements:
- eDV Cleared
- Degree educated, or significant relevant experience
- Experience in a Consultancy, Systems Integrator or similar organisation dedicated to delivering solutions to complex technical challenges
- Experience leading client delivery across a range of projects, including data intelligence, technology or security domains
- Excellent communication and technical leadership skills, including an ability to persuade and motivate others
- Passionate about technology and problem solving
