A Stores Operative is responsible for managing the storage, handling, and distribution of goods and materials within the main stores in our headquarters at Shoreham Technical Centre. Key Responsibilities: Receiving Goods: Check and inspect goods received. Ensure they are of accurate quantity, type, and quality. Issuing Stock: Pick and distribute materials to Ricardo staff. Keep records of items issued. Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies in SAP when necessary. Conduct regular stock counts and audits. Record Keeping: Maintain documentation for deliveries, stock movements, and inventory levels. Use stock control ERP software Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet pump trucks, or other material handling equipment. Skills and Qualifications: Experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory management. Forklift License Proficient in SAP Familiar with shipping tools such as DHL & FedEx. An understanding of customs clearance would be beneficial
