Server Administrator

Responsibilities

• A Server Administrator is required to:
• Build 3 instances of a single seat trainer to agreed design
• Document said design and the configuration used
• Write an update process for when the built machines are requested to be updated when being utilised.
• Work with customer through any build/design/process issues

Will also need to have:

• Windows Server 2019 Administration
• Domain Management (Domain/Forest config,Users, GPO\’s etc)
• SMB/NFS File Server management
• WSUS
• DNS
• SQL
• Good understanding of basic networking, DHCP, PXE building, Powershell.
• Additional skills that would be useful Ansible (ideally), Terraform (not vital), UNIX would be good, Azure and CICD pipelines, with hands on hardware experience would be useful
