Our client, a prominent entity in the oil & gas sector, is currently seeking a Senior Technical Safety Engineer to join their team in East hampshire. This permanent role requires an individual who prioritises safety in design and can ensure facilities design and project management are consistent with strict safety standards. The role involves interfacing with various engineering disciplines and project management, requiring effective persuasion skills. You will perform design work, lead activities for allocated projects, manage work and resources, provide technical leadership, and produce deliverables from feasibility phases through to Detailed Design. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking analysis, calculations, and engineering studies, producing technical safety deliverables in accordance with Company Standards/Procedures and international codes/standards. Producing deliverables in Technical Safety, such as Loss Prevention Activities, Risk Analysis, development of HSE related Philosophies, and RAM Studies. Supervising subordinates to achieve technical standards and production schedules. Checking and approving documents and drawings produced by others.
