Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support rail and infrastructure projects from design to completion. You will be responsible for mechanical installations, design reviews, compliance, and project management, ensuring successful delivery across HSE, quality, and commercial aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee mechanical installations and ensure compliance with regulations.
2. Conduct design reviews for buildability and constructability.
3. Develop engineered solutions and resolve project challenges.
4. Manage design risk assessments, registers, RFIs, TQs, and other documentation.
5. Work with CAD teams, installation teams, and procurement to ensure project success.
6. Track design changes, variances, and subcontractor works with commercial teams.
7. Lead and mentor the Mechanical Engineering & Design Team.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

1. Strong knowledge of mechanical installation legislation and standards.
2. Experience with BIM, design compliance, and risk assessments.
3. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Desirable:

1. Experience with Revit, MicroStation DGN, HEVACOMP, and P6/MS Project.
2. Sustainability awareness and project planning experience.
