For Companies Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing team. This is a permanent position focusing on infrastructure projects including highways and drainage, where you will be required to use software such as Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, and MicroDrainage. The role involves both project checking and reviewing, as well as engaging in technical design tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking technical design for infrastructure projects, including highways and drainage
- Checking and reviewing designs to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Managing and coordinating projects across the full lifecycle from concept design to detailed implementation
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Using Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, and MicroDrainage for design and analysis
- Conducting site assessments and feasibility studies
- Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers within the team
Job Requirements:
- Experience in civil engineering with a focus on highways and drainage
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, and MicroDrainage
- Chartered status (CEng or equivalent)
- Excellent project management and coordination skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work 2-3 days in the office
