The Role
- Deliver high-quality strategic intelligence to senior managers and board members, influencing key decisions to meet organisational objectives and optimise resource allocation.
- Define organisational information needs and design tailored analytical approaches, applying innovation throughout the process.
- Perform detailed analysis of demographic, environmental, and behavioural factors contributing to road traffic collisions.
- Query large datasets, use analytical software to process and summarise data, and interpret trends while accounting for data limitations.
- Present analysis findings through meetings, presentations, and written reports, providing recommendations to support data-driven, cost-effective interventions.
About You
- Degree-qualified or experienced as a professional data analyst.
- Subject to NPPV-2 vetting; occasional work required from Essex Police premises.
- Self-motivated and organised; able to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate to align analysis with organisational goals.
- Analytical and detail-focused; adept at processing raw data, producing accurate summaries, and applying critical thinking to interpret findings objectively.
