Our client, a global leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in Redditch. This is a permanent role where you will be part of a team committed to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient solutions, enhancing the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of manufacturing processes around the world. Key Responsibilities: Define, specify, and implement quality standards and procedures for manufacturing processes Provide technical advice and counsel to cross-functional teams assigned to process improvement projects Offer technical guidance to less experienced engineers Complete Quality Engineering assignments with minimal supervision Develop and implement corrective actions Host Source inspectors and/or Customer Auditors as needed Prepare and present material to customer representatives and/or facility employees as required Provide technical support to both internal and external customers and suppliers as needed Formulate and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards Job Requirements: Experience in manufacturing processes, preferably within the aerospace industry Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and requirements Knowledge of machining, assembly operations, gauging, SPC, APQP, and quality assurance systems (ISO 9001, AS9100) Experience in performing Quality Audits Proficiency in using MS Windows OS and familiarity with MS Office software Project Management experience is preferred ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr) is preferred Benefits: Competitive compensation 25 days holiday entitlement + 8 bank holidays up to 7% employeer penison contribution Lunch time finishes on Friday Challenging projects in a dynamic collaborative team Encouragement of internal promotions whenever possible Ongoing learning and development opportunities Dedication to improving people's lives and the environment through power management technologies Health and safety prioritised with comprehensive wellness programs If you are a skilled Quality Engineer with a passion for excellence and a background in aerospace manufacturing, we would love to hear from you.
