The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This permanent position is integral to the successful delivery of technically complex projects, ensuring compliance with rigorous industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the mobilisation of the WTB Project.
  • Produce and maintain the project Trials, Verification and Validation Plan.
  • Assist with supplier approval audits and onboarding in line with the mobilisation plan.
  • Provide engineering expertise and advice to the project team.
  • Produce and maintain project plans and technical documentation.
  • Serve as the interface between Project, Engineering Disciplines, and suppliers on technical issues, snags, and non-conformances.
  • Review engineering tasks and initiate the necessary corrective actions.
  • Engage with clients, interpret their needs and requirements, and represent them in the field.
  • Ensure weekly and monthly reporting material is provided and maintained.
  • Engender and maintain a mission zero safety culture throughout the programme delivery team and supply chain.

Job Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in a related discipline, preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
  • Active certification in an engineering professional organisation.
  • An understanding of engineering principles and procedures.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Experience in an engineering environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in a Project Engineering role.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Strong ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads.
  • Proficiency in IT skills including MS Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including producing technical and non-technical reports and giving presentations.
  • Security cleared or able to achieve security clearance.

Additional Information:

The role requires significant UK and overseas travel, mostly in Europe, to conduct supplier inspections and audits, and carry out equipment acceptance inspections. The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel both in the UK and overseas.
