Our client, a leader in the Oil & Gas sector, is seeking a Principal Flow Assurance Engineer to join their dynamic team in East Hampshire. This role involves providing technical leadership and support for worldwide projects across various phases, including feasibility, Basic/FEED, and execution. The Principal Flow Assurance Engineer will be part of the project engineering group, supporting multiple initiatives within the company. Key Responsibilities: Preparing technical documentation for Flow Assurance activities during various project phases, such as Conceptual Study, FEED, Tender and Contract package preparation, detailed engineering, and Operations. Following up on Supplier Call for Tender & Selection (qualifications, clarifications, recommendations) within the Flow Assurance discipline. Reviewing and approving FEED, Tender and Detailed Engineering performed by Contractors as applicable. Managing flow assurance activities within the Subsea Systems department. Collaborating with colleagues in the Subsea Systems department and within the Flow Assurance discipline. Liaising with other disciplines during the Project execution phase. Ensuring awareness and implementation of International Standards & Codes. Applying internal standards and HSEQ policies appropriately. Job Requirements: Extensive experience as a Flow Assurance Engineer through all phases of project development, from concept to execution and handover to operations. Graduate-level knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics. Ability to identify, define, and analyse complex multiphase hydrocarbon transportation schemes. Proficiency in software such as OLGA, PVTSim, Multiflash, Pipenet, Pipesim, Hysys, Unisim. Knowledge of programming languages such as Matlab, C++, and Python. Experience with Technical Audit, Design & Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, and Risk Assessment. Excellent communication skills, able to interface and collaborate effectively with staff, specialists, shareholders, contractors, and management. Understanding of the importance of planning and executing projects. Ability to integrate HSE and technical risk processes into engineering and project solutions. Capable of handling complex and diverse assignments with a high level of independent judgment. Qualifications: MS or BS Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering or a related discipline. Demonstrable experience in Flow Assurance across all project phases (feasibility study, FEED, detailed engineering, and Operations).
