Are you an experienced Press Brake Setter Operator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision? We’re seeking a skilled individual to join our Manufacturing team in Southend-On-Sea. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in producing high-quality sheet metal components, working with both CNC and manual press brakes. If you have expertise in precision sheet metal work and a commitment to maintaining high standards, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Precision Manufacturing: Set up and operate Amada HFE, EG4010, and HFB CNC Press Brakes to produce fine-limit, precision sheet metal components. Equipment Handling: Use precision tools, including Vernier Callipers, Protractors, and Vernier Height Gauges, to ensure accurate measurements. Machine Operation: Operate and maintain various equipment such as Fly-Presses, Guillotines, and Drilling Machines. Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment. Team Support: Work collaboratively with team members and assist with additional tasks as needed. Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Additional Duties: Perform other tasks within the manufacturing area, including Assembly, Machine Shop, and Fabrication, as required.Experience & Skills: Essential: Proven experience in precision sheet metal work. Proficiency in setting and operating CNC and manual Press Brakes. Ability to read and interpret 3rd angle projection engineering drawings. Competence in using engineering measuring equipment. Desirable: Experience in the aerospace industry. Power press setting and operating certificate. Familiarity with aerospace materials, such as L163-T3 sheet. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Capability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
