About the Role: Are you ready to take your career on the road? As a Mobile Vehicle Technician with the RAC, you'll be the hands-on hero, bringing your expert skills straight to our customers. You'll be delivering top-notch car services, diagnostics, and repairs right at their homes or workplaces. The road is your workshop - and the variety of tasks you'll face every day will keep you on your toes. What You'll Be Doing:
- Hands-On Expertise: Delivering essential car services, diagnostics, and repairs directly to customers at their homes or workplaces.
- Customer Connections: Building strong relationships with RAC members, providing expert advice and creating a memorable service experience.
- Problem-Solving: No two days are the same - whether it's a quick fix or a complex issue, you'll use your skills to keep customers safe and their cars running smoothly.
- Team Support: You won't be working alone. RAC's network of roadside technicians and in-house experts will be there for backup whenever you need it.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- A Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic, working across a variety of light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- A passion for customer service, with the ability to solve problems, offer advice, and handle a range of services including diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
- A can-do attitude with the ability to think on your feet, make quick decisions, and always keep the customer's best interests at heart.
