Are you ready to make a significant impact in the aerospace industry? We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer – Supply Chain to join a well recognised organisation in Fareham. This role is pivotal in ensuring the success of outsourcing projects and New Product Introductions while maintaining the highest quality standards in helicopter engine component production.
They are a leading provider of rotorcraft turbine solutions and maintain a robust UK facility serving as the European Maintenance Centre Hub. Their experienced teams partner with a global customer base, offering technical expertise and support across the fixed wing and rotary wing markets.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the ME-SC, you will act as the technical liaison between their organisation and suppliers. Your responsibilities include:

Leading or supporting all phases of the APQP (PPAP) or DVI industrial validation processes.

Ensuring efficient project management of product transfers and compliance with industrialization standards.

Supporting suppliers in overcoming challenges to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets.

Providing leadership and technical expertise for supplier development, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Managing cross-functional projects to qualify new components, address production issues, and develop new suppliers., * Assess supplier capabilities to meet performance, quality, cost, and delivery standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and APQP requirements.

Develop strong relationships with Procurement to manage supplier/engineering changes, New Product Introductions, and transfers.

Provide technical leadership for sourcing, supplier development, and investigations of major issues.

Define and ensure supplier process parameters align with product requirements.

Prepare reports and present progress at project meetings and to clients.

Proven track record in supplier development and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications:
