Our client, a leading entity within the Highways sector, is currently seeking a skilled Highways Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The role is predominantly site-based within the Highways section of Engineering Group 2, with an option for working from home by agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the delivery of highway maintenance and improvement projects.
- Plan and schedule works in line with the overall programme of works.
- Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance works including carriageway and footway resurfacing/reconstruction.
- Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and other teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in highway maintenance.
- Proven knowledge of the planning and delivery of highway maintenance works.
- Strong site supervision skills, ensuring safety and efficiency in maintenance operations.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and contractors.

Contract Details:
