Job Description: In this role, you will work closely with the Product Manager, System Design Authority, and Programme Manager on UK and international programs. You will also collaborate with other teams across the globe. As the Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering engineering activities on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards across the defence portfolio. You’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring solutions meet requirements and are fit for purpose. This is an opportunity to contribute to the next phase of the development for both UK and international markets. Key qualifications include : Experience leading complex engineering projects in an Engineering Manager or Lead role Product-based engineering experience Proven ability to manage multiple teams Strong engineering estimation skills, including reviewing and defending estimates Experience creating Work Breakdown Structures and defining delivery strategies Ability to produce engineering plans and manage dependencies, risks, and opportunities Understanding of project design gates from bid to production readiness Ability to influence programs towards cost-efficient, compliant solutions Experience presenting to senior management (e.g., Senior Leadership Team, CEO) Coaching or mentoring experience.
