Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence and Security sector, is on the lookout for a dedicated Electronics Engineer to join their innovative team. This permanent position offers the opportunity to significantly contribute to cutting-edge projects within the defence and security industry, ensuring high standards and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Undertake the development of electronic/electrical hardware design in alignment with quality management systems. Ensure outputs meet required standards according to programme objectives, including schedule and budget adherence. Provide technical input and guidance to the team and business. Support the business in being flexible, agile, innovative, and successful. Specific Job Responsibilities: Develop high-quality, reliable, and safe electronic designs with relevant documentation according to design and quality standards. Collaborate with the Engineering team and other business functions to enhance processes and implement lessons learned. Maintain the Engineering review process with a focus on design objectives, including manufacturability, product lifecycle maintenance, safety, and warranty. Interpret technical requirements and produce electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Material. Follow the product lifecycle from compliance to customer or market requirements through to final design review and certification.
