Our client, a leading player in the automation and energy sectors, is currently seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join their team. This permanent role will play a crucial part in the maintenance and operation of all electrical and instrumentation equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of their establishment. Key Responsibilities: Identifying, scheduling, and carrying out planned and corrective maintenance checks and repairs Routine servicing of electrical, electronic, and electrical control equipment such as distribution panels, motors, controllers, and starters Reporting maintenance activities into the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Inspecting, maintaining, and replacing ATEX equipment in hazardous areas Maintaining all site services in good working order and ensuring compliance with safe working practices Responding to 24-hour call-outs or providing advice on plant breakdowns outside normal working hours Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new plant facilities Liaising with and supervising contractors to ensure compliance with permits and acceptable standards Job Requirements: Experience in maintaining low-voltage electrical distribution and PLC control equipment and associated control signals Electrical qualification (apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3) with an excellent und…
