Design Manager (COMMS, M&E or FIRE)

Our client is currently seeking three Design Managers with specialisations in either Comms, M&E, or Fire to join their team on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities: Managing the design process for rail communication systems including SISS, Telecoms, M&E, and Fire Engineering Ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and regulations Overseeing project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful on-time completion Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution Providing technical expertise and guidance to design teams Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies Reviewing and approving all design documentation Maintaining clear and effective communication with all project participants Job Requirements: Experience in designing rail communication systems including SISS, Telecoms, M&E, and Fire Engineering Strong understanding of rail regulations and industry standards Proficiency in project management and the design approval process Excellent coordination and leadership skills Ability to perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong analytic abilities Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Must be able to be at office in South London 2 days a week and be on site 1 day a week.
