DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer

Bristol (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

We’re looking for a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to join a small, collaborative DevOps infrastructure team that sits within a wider technical Defence organisation. This is a hands-on infrastructure support role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across both Linux and Windows environments in a steady, well-structured setting.

This is not a highly complex role, and a defence background is not required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing day-to-day infrastructure support
• Working across Linux and Windows systems
• Supporting and maintaining virtualised environments
• Collaborating with DevOps and wider technical teams
• Using DevOps tools to support delivery, documentation, and workflows

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in a corporate or DevOps environment
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux
• Experience with virtualisation technologies, such as:
• VMWare
• Nutanix

Working knowledge of DevOps tools including:

• Git
• Jira
• Confluence
• Jenkins
• Artifactory

Nice to Have

• Exposure to or interest in cyber security within an infrastructure or DevOps setting

Working Pattern

• Hybrid role based in Bristol
• 3 days per week onsite
