About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Documentation Specialist to support a globally respected engineering organisation operating in the aerospace sector. This hands-on, detail-critical role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in aerospace maintenance documentation or technical authorship who thrives in a precision-focused environment.
The role sits within a highly skilled technical team responsible for engine overhaul and repair across the EMEA region. You will play a key role in ensuring that technical publications, maintenance data, and supporting documentation are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities

Review, interpret, and validate complex technical procedures, publications, and engineering documentation.

Ensure maintenance documentation is aligned with regulatory, airworthiness, and internal standards.

Compile and audit technical records (including workpacks and maintenance logs) to ensure completeness and traceability.

Generate technical reports, cost estimates, and repair summaries in line with quoted scopes of work.

Assist in maintaining a compliant document archive system, including scanning and indexing of legacy records.

Work closely with engineering and materials teams to ensure accurate part tracking, repair status, and scrap handling.
What We\’re Looking For

Strong background in aerospace maintenance documentation or technical authorship.

Ability to interpret OEM publications, technical procedures, and airworthiness data.

Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word for report generation and data handling.

Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to documentation accuracy and process integrity.

Effective communicator capable of liaising with technical teams, suppliers, and quality personnel.

Familiarity with EASA, FAA, or equivalent airworthiness standards is an advantage.
