Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Stores Coordinator to support a busy motorsport freight operation based near Brooklands. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment, has strong administrative skills, and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team where accuracy, reliability, and teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day administration and coordination of stores activities
- Receiving, checking, and logging parts and equipment
- Maintaining accurate stock records and related documentation
- Supporting freight operations with timely preparation and dispatch of goods
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure parts availability and operational deadlines are met
- Keeping stores areas organised, compliant, and operationally efficient
- Assisting with ad-hoc operational tasks during peak workload periods
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work effectively in a busy, time-critical environment
- Good communication skills and a collaborative team attitude
- Previous experience in stores, logistics, freight, motorsport, or engineering environments preferred
- Confident using IT systems (stock control systems, spreadsheets, email)
