Our client, operating in the aerospace sector, is urgently seeking a dedicated MRO Senior Technician (Global Deployment) to join their dynamic team. This permanent role involves maintaining and supporting Windracers UAV, ensuring they are of the highest operational standard. With a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota, you will need to be adaptable and ready to work in diverse, challenging environments, including conflict zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embodiment of planned fleet modifications
- Completion of scheduled maintenance
- Diagnosing, planning, and completing unscheduled maintenance and repair
- Collaborating with engineering/R&D on post manufacture product development modifications
- Conducting ground testing for quality assurance and fault diagnosis
- Rectifying faults found during ground testing
- Supporting ground handling, refuelling, and flying operations
- Ensuring compliance with airspace regulations and safety protocols
- Documenting and reporting issues, gathering necessary data
- Staying informed about aviation regulations and obtaining necessary permits
- Coordinating with ground crews, project managers, and team members
- Recording flight, maintenance, modification, and incident activities accurately
- Participating in training programmes to stay updated on UAV technology and best practices
- Carrying out general duties to accomplish the company's goals
Leadership & Continuous Improvement:
- Maintain currency with industry practices and foster continuous learning

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Qualifications & Experience:
- Experienced vehicle technician (air, automotive, marine, or rail)
- Proficient in mechanical or electrical/electronic vehicle fault diagnosis
- Supervisory experience in trade groups
- Capability to adapt and learn new skills
- Proficiency in reading and giving feedback on engineering drawings
- Experience with Microsoft Office
