Product Design Engineer in Stratford-Upon-Avon

This role is centred around the design, development, validation, and introduction of Cabin components into vehicle programmes, with full responsibility for the development process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Cabin components for vehicle programmes
• Validate and introduce components ensuring they meet quality, cost, and time benchmarks
• Manage the component delivery plan throughout the product development life cycle
• Lead on the technical content and integrity of specific components and systems
• Resolve business, technical, and process issues
• Utilise digital tools such as CAD and CAE for component system geometry development

Job Requirements:

• Experience in managing resolution of business, technical, and process issues
• Understanding and experience in the new product development life cycle
• Proficient in problem-solving tools and techniques
• Skilled in key software applications like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Previous experience within an engineering discipline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Understanding or working knowledge of the Agile Process
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred
