Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:00am - 3:00pm, including 30-minute lunch break)

Our client, a leading manufacturer within the marine sector, is seeking an experienced GRP Composites Finisher to join their production team in Berinsfield. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in GRP finishing, gel coat repairs, paint finishing, or detailing to play a key role in producing high-quality components used in boat construction.

Working within a skilled finishing team, you will be responsible for ensuring all moulded components meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship:

  • Prepare and fair surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Polish gel coat surfaces to an exceptional standard
  • Maintain high workmanship and quality standards at all times
  • Support other areas of the manufacturing process when required
  • Assist with the training and development of new production operatives

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in GRP finishing, composite finishing, paint finishing or detailing
  • Ability to achieve high-quality finishes consistently
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work to production deadlines
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping
  • Previous experience within the marine industry
  • Experience working in a quality-driven manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of composite materials and GRP boat-building processes

Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000
