Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a transaction-processing focused technology project within a complex, enterprise environment. The role sits within a wider digital and technology change portfolio and will focus on delivering improvements and transformation across transaction processing capabilities. You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring strong governance, risk control, and stakeholder engagement throughout the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end project management of a transaction-processing technology initiative
- Ownership of budget management, forecasting, and cost control
- Effective stakeholder management, engaging senior business and technology partners
- Proactive risk and issue management, including escalation where appropriate
- Delivery of high-quality project reporting, analysis, and governance updates
- Coordinating resources across multiple delivery teams and workstreams
- Supporting change and transformation initiatives within a digital and technology environment
- Ensuring adherence to corporate governance, risk, and control standards
- Contributing to cost-benefit analysis (CBA) and value-based decision-making
- Applying strong business acumen to balance delivery, risk, and strategic outcomes
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering transaction-processing or technology change initiatives
- Strong background in budgeting, financial management, and reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in risk management, controls, and issue escalation
- Experience delivering digital or technology change in structured environments
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capability
- Comfortable working within governance-led, enterprise delivery frameworks
Working Arrangements
Based in Northampton, with a minimum expectation of 2 days onsite per week. No regular travel required, with occasional visits to Radbroke if needed.
