We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mazak CNC Machinist to join a well-established aerospace engineering company based in Farnborough. This is a long-term contract opportunity with strong prospects for extension.
The Role: You will be responsible for the programming, setting, and operating of Mazak CNC machines, producing high-precision components for the aerospace sector.
- Initial shift pattern: Day shift - 7:30am to 4:00pm (1:00pm finish on Fridays)
- Future shift pattern: Alternating double shifts
- Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Opportunity to receive training on Sliding Head machines.
The Company: You'll be working for a leading manufacturer of aerospace sensor systems, producing components used in landing gear, lighting, temperature sensing, and other critical aircraft systems. The site is modern, well-organised, and known for long-term contractor retention.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience with Mazak CNC machines
- Strong background in programming, setting, and operating
- Ability to work to tight aerospace tolerances
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and inspection equipment
- Right to Work in the UK required (no sponsorship available)
