The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 Β£ per year.

Our client, a leading manufacturer within the marine sector, is seeking an experienced Composite Laminator (Secondary Bonding) to join their growing production team in Berinsfield on a permanent basis.

  • Cut and prepare reinforcement and core materials for composite manufacture
  • Carry out secondary bonding activities and structural component installation
  • Apply gelcoat using brush and spray techniques
  • Undertake wet lamination processes, including resin mixing, fibre lay-up and consolidation
  • Repair and finish gelcoat surfaces where required
  • Interpret laminate drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production
  • Support finishing and production teams through effective preparation of components
  • Trim, grind and prepare demoulded components for further assembly

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a composites manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of wet lamination and secondary bonding processes
  • Experience working with GRP materials and composite structures
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and production documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • A proactive and organised approach to work
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to meet production deadlines

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in GRP boat-building or marine manufacturing
  • Knowledge of open moulding techniques
  • Process control experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience mentoring or training junior team members
  • Experience working within a high-quality production setting
