Our client, a leading company in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a B2 Licensed Engineer to join their dynamic team in Bournemouth. This permanent role involves the maintenance and repair of aircraft and equipment, ensuring mission success starts with skilled and dedicated individuals like you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and certify work within terms of company authorisation on technical logs or worksheets.
- Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance inspections, defect rectification, modifications, and service bulletins.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance documentation and company procedures, including all SHE-related aspects.
- Complete work cards timely and accurately record additional defects found.
- Report critical defects immediately and work on developing solutions with the supervisor.
- Maintain aircraft/components assigned by the supervisor, including at detached locations.
- Coordinate with necessary departments to complete tasks efficiently.
- Manage budget constraints and highlight potential financial risks.
- Oversee ground movement of aircraft as assigned, and deputise for the SLAE in their absence.
- Perform safety checks before and during aircraft maintenance, particularly during functional tests.
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
- Falcon 20 type rating preferred.
- Experience in a line maintenance operation acting as a certifier, with familiarity in base maintenance.
- Experience on pressurised twin-engine turbine/turbo-prop aircraft above 5700KG.
- Proven supervisory experience leading teams with a successful track record of delivery.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Commercial acumen with experience working to tight deadlines and budgetary requirements.
